The flip handheld is back. The Anbernic RG SP is a clamshell design that fits right in your pocket and plays the classics. This is genuinely awesome.
Flip it open, play your games, snap it shut. The design protects the screen in your bag, so no case needed, and it still fits in a jacket pocket. Anbernic keeps getting these right.
Why it stands out
The form factor. There is something unbeatable about a clamshell handheld. It feels like the good old days, and it plays the classics you actually care about.
Who should get it
The retro gamer in your life. This is a perfect Christmas gift, no notes. Small, fun, and guaranteed to get opened before the turkey is done. It is the kind of gift that makes someone say "you should not have" and then disappear for two hours.
