Dual screen retro gaming without the premium price. That is the whole pitch and honestly it wins. This is the dual screen handheld I would actually recommend to most people.
The Anbernic RG DS is the standard dual screen handheld. Same clamshell idea, same two screens, same pocket friendly design, but at a friendlier price than the DS Plus.
Why do I like it? Because it does not overthink things. You open it up, you play, you close it. That is it. Anbernic quality at a price that makes sense is hard to argue with.
Who is it for? Anyone who grew up on dual screen handhelds and wants that feeling back. It is also the smarter gift pick if you are buying for a retro gamer on a budget.
One more thing. Retro handhelds like this are the perfect holiday gift. Easy to wrap, easy to love, and it actually gets played instead of collecting dust.
