Dual-screen retro gaming, done right. The Anbernic RG DS Plus is the one to get, and I am not being subtle about it. If you want two screens, this is the pick.
It nails the dual-screen experience that made that whole era of gaming special. Those games were built around the second screen, and playing them any other way just feels off. Anbernic built this one for the fans.
Why it stands out
Most dual-screen handhelds are compromises. The DS Plus is not. It is the one I would actually buy if I wanted this form factor, full stop.
Who should get it
Anyone who grew up on dual-screen gaming and wants it back in a modern package. Retro collectors, this belongs on your shelf and in your bag. This is also the one I point people to when they ask where to start. It earns its spot in any collection.
