Five picks that still make me smile every time I see them. A Vita style handheld, a Switch 2 controller fix, a boombox with a screen built in, a full size hoverboard, and solar lights I can hang and forget. Five different lanes, zero filler. My top pick is at the end.
Anbernic RG Vita / Vita Pro
The RG Vita and Vita Pro. For everyone who still says the Vita was ahead of its time, this is your handheld. Look at that white unit in the photo. The box reads RG VITA Pro, the sticks glow, and the screen is showing Sega, PCE, Capcom, and Game Boy classics right on the home menu. Retro fans, this form factor just feels right in the hands.
Mobapad M6 HD
Nyxi just fixed the Switch 2's biggest problem. Meet the Mobapad M6 HD. That is the black pad right there on the console, orange accent line, colored ring around the stick, and my finger is not even covering the good part. If your Switch 2 controls feel off, this is the upgrade I point people to first. It looks serious because it is.
Media Boombox with Screen
A boombox with a screen built in. It is as fun as it sounds. That is the unit sitting on its own box in my kitchen, speakers on both sides, screen right in the middle, and the box says Portable Media Boombox plain as day. Music, video, whatever you throw at it, all in one box. This one gets comments every time somebody sees it.
Back to the Future Hoverboard
A full 1:1 size Back to the Future style hoverboard. That pink board in the photo is the real size, HOVER BOARD written right across it, and I am barely in the frame next to it. The most fun gift on this list, period. For the collector, for the movie fan, for anybody who grew up wanting one of these in their room.
Solar Hanging Lights
Solar hanging lights for Christmas and Halloween. Hang them, forget them, enjoy them. That is me holding the whole bundle up to the camera, and yes, there are a lot of lights in that handful. No cords to run, no outlet to hunt for. Put them up once and let the sun do the work. Easy win for the house.
My top pick is the Back to the Future Hoverboard. Nothing else on this list makes people light up like that board does. Everything else here is solid too. Grab the hoverboard first if you are gift shopping, then grab whatever else fits your setup. Do not forget to follow for more.
